The School of Coral Reef Restoration (SCORES) Indonesia is a dedicated unit within the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, IPB University, initiated by Tries Razak, Beginer Subhan, and the late Hawis Madduppa. Officially launched on December 6, 2021.

SCORES was established in response to the growing need for a centralised platform to learn, share, and connect among coral reef restoration practitioners. SCORES serves as an open and inclusive knowledge-sharing forum for individuals and institutions working in coral reef restoration, both in Indonesia and internationally. By bringing together scientists, students, NGOs, government agencies, and coastal communities, SCORES fosters collaboration and shared learning to support more effective restoration efforts.
